1907 Directory is divided into three parts: a Street Directory of
Stockport [this will enable known addresses to be checked] pp.37-175;
a List of Householders with Occupations and Addresses [about 8,300
surnames alphabetically listed for searching] pp.177-280; and a
List of Tradesman (Classified) [search for an individual if a trade
or occupation is known] pp.281-328. In addition the directory contains
fascinating contemporary advertisements, and a great mass of historical
and contemporary social information about Stockport & district.
