Individual Solutions SK is a limited company that is wholly-owned by Stockport Council. We provide a wide range of social care services to residents of the borough, public sector organisations and private customers.

Our mission is ‘to deliver high quality social care support to adults and older people in Stockport’. These services will be tailored to meet the requirements of our customers we will promote independence, wellbeing and choice at all times. We will be reliable, consistent and flexible in our approach to working with people who use our services, and will respect people’s lifestyle, culture and religion, always placing the individual at the centre when planning support with them.

Our staff are highly trained, competent and qualified in the work that they do. In December 2008, the Home Support Service (formerly Torkington Lodge) received a 3 star excellent rating from the Care Quality Commission with whom we are registered as a domiciliary care provider.
