Luncheon Clubs

Luncheon Clubs offer a comfortable and friendly place for people to enjoy a hot two course meal and meet new people in their local communities. They operate in various locations across the borough usually in churches and community buildings. The core hours are between 11.30am and 1.30pm, though times may vary across individual clubs.

A set amount is charged to cover the cost of a hot two course meal. In addition some clubs may also charge a small amount for tea and coffee as well as holding raffles etc, to help out with the cost of entertainment, parties, or special occasions during the year.

Our Professional team of Community Service Workers co-ordinate and support the luncheon clubs and they can then help you to find a local club suited to your needs.

In addition the Community Service Workers will;

  • Support people, their family and carers to make informed choices about the services they can access
  • Provide support in organising appropriate transport
  • Introduce people to services
  • Act as a regular contact for users their family and carers
  • Support people to monitor and review requirements, choices and day to day needs
  • Provide relevant information about services which may be of benefit
  • Refer people to other services where appropriate

Services operate at varies locations and times. If you to would like more information please contact: Lisa New or Elaine Taylor (Community Service Workers) on 0161 474 3900 or email: activites@individualssk.co.uk
