This will perform a search of the Title, Description, Date and Photographer fields.To search for a phrase (e.g. "Plaza
Theatre") use quotes (NB only one such phrase
can be used)
Additionally, to search for a specific date or Accession Number, please select:

Advanced Search
You can narrow down your search by specifying keywords
and/or areas. For each category, choose between the "And" and "Or" options, then
tick as many of the category choices as you like. You can show or hide each category
to make choosing easier.
Keywords
For example, typing "Offerton" in the Basic Search field,
and then selecting "And" in the keywords, followed by a tick in "Parks" and "Pubs",
you will see all pictures of "parks and pubs in Offerton". If you select "Or",
you will see all Offerton pictures as well as all parks
and all pubs (not necessarily
in Offerton). Similar rules apply to the Areas selection.
